Did you get nice NEW towels, blankets or pet supplies for Christmas? What to do with the now “un-used” older things? DONATE! We’re collecting “stuff” again for local animal shelters! From today till Jan 15th, Collection drop off is open at the SWISSDETAIL office from 7am to 5pm every weekday.
What does a Shelter need? More than you think! Next to the usual things we might think of like
- Purina One Dry Dog Food (any flavor but lamb)
- Friskies Canned Food
- Dog Jerky and Temptations Cat Treats
- Toys and Cat litter
The shelters also need Cleaning supplies! Like
- Paper Towels, Trash Bags and Zip log bags
- Bleach, Unscented Laundry Soap
- Dish Soap, all purpose cleaners
- Nitrile Gloves and heavy duty gloves
Or more unusual things like
- Gerber Babyfood chicken & gravy
- milk replacement for kittens
- pet bed warmers
And of course office supplies and such!
- Notepads & sticky notes
- Copy paper
- pens & sharpies
- all kind of tape
- envelopes & stamps
- toilet paper
- and so on
